6. How does a junior player become a rep player?
To become a representative player, one must play tournaments.

Selection is based on New Zealand Ranking and local tournament play among other things.

Tennis Central Representative Play
Age group (12s, 14s and 16s) regional teams are selected once a year for the National Teams Event in January held right before or after that age group's Nationals tournament.
Selections for the Tennis Central Teams are based on the National Points Race which is found on the Grading List website, 4th tab from the left.
The National Points Race records junior tournament results only.
